Why Choose the Aomway Commander V2?

The Aomway Commander V2 sets a new standard for FPV goggle performance at its price point. Designed by pilots for pilots, every feature is engineered to give you the competitive edge — whether you're racing, freestyling, or running long-range missions.

Display & Optics

Dual high-resolution LCOS microdisplays deliver pin-sharp 854×480 resolution with a wide, immersive field of view. Colors are vibrant and blacks are deep — no washed-out image here. The adjustable IPD (56–72mm) and focal correction lenses (±6 diopter) ensure a perfect fit for nearly every pilot.

Resolution: 854×480 (WVGA) per eye
FOV: Wide immersive viewing angle
Display Type: LCOS (Liquid Crystal on Silicon)
IPD Range: 56–72 mm adjustable

Receiver & Video System

At the heart of the Commander V2 is an integrated diversity receiver with two independent tuner modules. The system constantly monitors signal strength across both antenna paths and seamlessly switches to the strongest feed — no glitching, no breakup. Supports all major FPV bands including Raceband, covering 5.8GHz with 48 channels.

Receiver: Integrated dual-antenna diversity
Frequency: 5.8GHz, 48 channels (all standard bands + Raceband)
Antenna Connectors: Dual SMA (RP-SMA compatible)
Built-in DVR: Micro SD card slot, records H.264 at full resolution
Latency: Ultra-low glass-to-glass

Connectivity & Expandability

The Commander V2 isn't just a goggle — it's a cockpit. An HDMI input port lets you connect ground stations, flight simulators, or any external HDMI source. The dedicated 3.5mm AV input accepts analog video from legacy gear. A removable head tracker module bay gives you room to add your own tracking system for antenna tracking setups.

Audio: Built-in speaker + 3.5mm headphone jack
Head Tracker Bay: Removable for third-party modules

Power & Battery

Wide voltage support from 2S to 6S LiPo means you can power the Commander V2 directly from nearly any battery in your kit. The integrated low-voltage alarm warns you long before the goggle dies, and each pack delivers 4–6 hours of continuous flight time depending on battery capacity.

Input Voltage: DC 7–25.2V (2S–6S LiPo)
Power Consumption: ~5W typical
Battery Connector: XT60 (cable included)
Runtime: 4–6 hours on a standard 2S 2000mAh pack

Comfort & Build Quality

Weighing just 260 grams, the Commander V2 is one of the lightest full-featured goggles in its class. The ergonomic faceplate uses a triple-layer foam padding that conforms to your face shape. A built-in cooling fan circulates air across the lens cavity to prevent fogging — even in tropical humidity. The adjustable head strap distributes weight evenly for fatigue-free multi-hour sessions.

Weight: ~260g (without battery)

Anti-Fog: Forced-air fan system
