Before powering on: always install the antenna and check that the antenna connector is correctly mated. Otherwise the power amplifier will be burned out instantly.
The vast majority of drone detectors on the market cover a detection frequency range of 1 GHz to 8 GHz. Once the VTX operating frequency exceeds 8 GHz, those detectors can no longer detect signals in that band, which in certain special scenarios greatly improves the survivability of the drone.
