Take It. Test It. Keep It.

Free samples of every Aomway product — we ship, you test honestly, you publish the results.

Tell us who you are and what you fly. If it is approved, the sample and the freight are on us. In return, you publish a test video and a written post about how the hardware actually performed.

We would rather you fly our gear than read about it.

Why We Are Doing This

Aomway has been building FPV and UAV video links, antennas, optical modules and payload hardware for fifteen years. In that time we have learned one uncomfortable thing: the most useful feedback we ever get does not come from our own lab.

It comes from a pilot standing in a field at 7 a.m., staring at a screen that should be clean and is not. From an integrator who discovers that our optical module survives a bend radius that killed three other suppliers. From a team that pushes a transmitter further than we thought it would go, or finds the one temperature where something drifts.

That kind of information is worth more to us than any advertisement. So we would like to stop guessing and start sending.

We are not looking for praise. We are looking for truth. If a product performs well, say so — and show it. If it has a flaw, we want to hear that even more, because that is the version of the story that makes the next revision better.

What You Receive

Item Detail
The sample Any product in our catalogue, free of charge
The shipping Covered by us, worldwide
The commitment None. You keep the sample either way
The pressure None. There is no fixed wording and no set of expectations to match

If we approve your application, the hardware is yours. We are not sending you a loaner, and we are not asking for it back. What we are asking for is published, honest testing.

What We Ask in Return

Two things, and both of them should be things you would want to publish anyway:

1. A test video. Real footage of the product in use. Flying, bench testing, integration, range checking, teardown — whatever is honest and useful for the product in question. It does not need a production budget. It needs to be real.

2. A written test post. A published article, forum thread or social post describing what you tested, how you tested it, and what you found. Numbers are welcome. Photographs are welcome. Problems are welcome. Then send us the links.

That is the entire arrangement. If the product disappoints you, publish that. We will still have learned something, and so will everyone reading.

How to Apply

Applying takes one email. Write to [email protected] and include:

  • Who you are — your name, your project or organisation, and your role.
  • What you actually do — fixed wing, FPV, multirotor, counter-UAS, research, industrial inspection, integration, review channel. A link to previous work helps.
  • Which product you want to test — and why that one.
  • Where you will publish — the channel, forum, magazine or platform where the video and post will appear.
  • When you can test it — a rough timeline is enough.

We review applications continuously. Most decisions are made within a few working days. If your request is approved, we will confirm the shipping details and send it out. If we decline, we will tell you why — not leave you waiting.

Every Product Qualifies

This is not limited to a clearance shelf or a single flagship. The entire catalogue is open:

Digital links Apexlink Pro and Apexlink Lite HD video and data links
Optical modules 1270 / 1330 nm bend-insensitive modules, plug-and-play versions
Repeaters 20 km and 60 km video and data repeaters
Fiber optic spools Internal and external payout drums, plus the rewinding machine

Compute and platforms 10 TOPS AI modules, fixed-wing airframes
Propulsion 20 kg and 40 kg thrust turbojet engines
Radio links ELRS receivers, long-range control hardware

If it is listed on this website, it can be applied for.

Who We Are Looking For

The strongest applications tend to come from people who will genuinely use the hardware:

  • Field engineers and integrators who will put the product into a real system.
  • Reviewers and content creators with an audience that trusts their testing.
  • Research groups and university labs working on UAV, RF or optical links.
  • FPV and long-range pilots who will take a link to its limits.
  • Counter-UAS and security teams assessing detection and interference performance.

You do not need a large following. You need a real use case and a willingness to publish what happens.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the sample really free?

Yes. The product and the shipping are both covered by us. You are not asked to pay anything at any stage, and you are not asked to return the hardware.

Do I have to write something positive?

No. We ask for honest testing, not favourable testing. If a product falls short, publish that — it is more valuable to us than a flattering review, and it is more valuable to your readers too.

Do I need a big audience?

No. A small, engaged audience that trusts your testing is worth more than a large passive one. What matters is that the results get published and that they are real.

How long does approval take?

Most applications are reviewed within a few working days. If yours needs more time, we will tell you rather than leave it silent.

Can I apply for more than one product?

Yes. Many testers start with one item and apply for others afterwards. We would rather build an ongoing relationship with a tester than run a one-off giveaway.

What if the product does not fit my current setup?

Say so in the application. Tell us what you do fly and let us suggest something that genuinely fits. A sample that gathers dust teaches nobody anything.

What happens after I publish?

Send us the links. We read them, we pass the feedback to the engineering team, and interesting findings often shape the next revision of the product.

Try Something. Tell Us What Happens.

The offer is simple and it is genuine: we send the hardware, you test it honestly, the community gets another real data point instead of another press release.

If there is a product on this page you have been curious about, this is the least expensive way you will ever find out.

Write to [email protected] with the details above, and let us put it in a box.
